As participants in ACTA’s Traditional Arts Development Program in 2008, the San Diego Folk & Traditional Cultures Alliance received support to host two regional meetings to create and initiate this network of local folk and traditional artists in order to assist in the artists’ professional development and create a relationship of common interests and information-sharing.
