Ramaa Bhardvaj, a master bharata natyam dancer hosted a Divali ritual before dinner at the Señor Fish restaurant on Saturday evening. Divali, the Hindu “festival of lights” was on October 25, the day of the gathering, this year. Here she anoints, Kine Diouf, an apprentice Liberian “Kru” dancer, with sandalwood paste as a welcoming gesture.
