Theatre Flamenco
Theatre Flamenco is the second oldest dance company in the Bay Area and the oldest flamenco dance company in the country. Their commitment is to preserve and pass on to the next generation the beauty, passion, and appreciation for the art, music, and culture of flamenco, a tradiitonal dance and music art form from Andalucian Spain. Theatre Flamenco is not only focused on producing the highest quality performances, but it also works to expose the community to the many, lesser known branches of flamenco that are inherent to its cultures and traditions.
In 2012, a contract from ACTA’s Development Program supported a grant writing and fundraising consultancy betwen Theatre Flamenco and development consultant Julie Kanter.
