Making grants that enhance the quality of life through the arts with programs that are accessible to and affordable for a large and diverse public in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The Columbia Foundation focuses its Arts and Cultures grantmaking on: 1) specific projects for the creation, development, performance or exhibition in the performing (music, opera, dance, theater) or visual arts; and 2) general support for development of organizations with annual operating budgets under $500,000.
Restricted to the San Francisco Bay Area with priority given to San Francisco-based organizations.
