ARC Grants for LA Artists: Fourth Quarter

ACTA - Posted on 05 March 2011

Event Date(s)

The ARC (Artists' Resource for Completion) grants provide rapid, short-term assistance to individual artists in Los Angeles County who wish to enhance work for a specific, imminent opportunity that may significantly benefit their careers.  Artists in any discipline are eligible to apply.  The applicant must already have secured an invitation from an established arts organization to present the proposed work.  The work must be scheduled for presentation within six months of the application deadline.

Applications in all disciplines are accepted by deadline, on a quarterly basis.  Please see the guidelines for a list of current quarterly deadline dates.  If you have questions or need more information on the ARC grants program, please either email or call the toll free grant hotline at (800) 418-1671.

Beginning January 1, 2011, administration of the Durfee Foundation's ARC Program (Artists' Resource for Completion) transitions to the Center for Cultural Innovation. The quarterly deadline cycle, selection process and grant dollars available have remained the same. The Durfee Foundation and the Center for Cultural Innovation are very excited to partner in continuing to make this important and vital resource available to L.A. artists. By transferring the ARC grants program to CCI, the Durfee Foundation hopes to bring additional resources to the ARC grants program to continue this funding opportunity in the future.
