Announcing a new traveling exhibition of over 40 framed photos depicting altars, nacimientos, and celebrations of the traditional Mexican American Christmas season extending from December 12 to February 2. These rich, deeply rooted expressions, which are commitments to family, community, and faith, are found in both rural and urban areas of California. This exciting exhibit is designed to stand alone or to provide a contextual backdrop for the presentation of local nacimiento builders at the borrowing arts agency or gallery. We invite you to explore the many possibilities that this new concept in traveling exhibition provides.
This exhibit program is a project of the Fresno Arts Council/ACTA.
