| On la Nochebuena (December 24), the Francisco and Graciela Mendez family rocks and sings to their two figures of the Niño Dios at midnight. After being adored by all in attendance, each is placed in the manger in the nacimiento and the celebration continues with food, music, a piñata for the children and the opening of gifts.
